Carlton Amplifiers are hand-built guitar amplifiers that are made to-order, and use recycled old amplifier cabinets, chassis or any other parts donated by the customer in good condition. While they may never rival your Hiwatt or your point-to-point Benson, they are made with high quality parts and construction methods all while helping to limit e-waste and keep that Austin, TX spirit of weirdness alive.

Ordering Process:

  1. Fill out the form below and include details of the types of amplifiers you like and would want to emulate (for example: 60s Fender Princeton)

  2. Once you submit the form, within a week you should receive a reply with some more detailed questions to finalize the type of amp you want and design of your amplifier

  3. Before work starts, an estimate will be sent and a 20% refundable deposit will be required - cash or electronic transfers accepted

  4. Lead times will depend highly on the complexity and size of the amplifier, varying from as quick as 2 months to as long as 6 months - this will be included in the estimate
